About us

Uganda Voluntary Development Association is a Non-governmental Organisation registered in Uganda Reg. No. S 5914/2246 dedicated to preserving, conserving and promoting our natural and cultural heritage by organizing international voluntary projects for people of all ages and backgrounds. UVDA also divest itself of all political or religious affiliations in its work of promoting peace and intercultural understanding through practical action and exchanges. UVDA was established to give voice and bring awareness to the society about environmental and cultural conservation by creating projects engaging national and international volunteers with the main goal of preserving and promoting Uganda’s heritage through voluntary action with a global perspective. UVDA is a full member of the Coordinating Committee of International Voluntary Services (CCIVS) and an associate member of the Jeuensse Musicale International (JMI) and Ethno Uganda brand holder.​
